Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What We Offer** * $31.00 per hour * $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays **What You'll Be Doing** * Safely operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver products to customers. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. * Ensure accurate delivery tickets and maintain communication with dispatch. * Assist with the loading and unloading of materials. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. **What Are We Looking For** * Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. * Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Physical capability to lift and move heavy materials. * Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations. **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
