Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Assist with loading and unloading materials and supplies * Perform general cleanup and maintenance of plant and yard areas * Operate basic tools and equipment safely and efficiently * Support plant operations by moving materials and monitoring stockpiles * Follow all safety procedures and report hazards promptly **What Are We Looking For** * Ability to work safely and follow established guidelines * Strong work ethic and reliability in completing tasks * Capability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions * Willingness to learn and operate equipment as needed * Team-oriented with good communication skills **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $25.89 per hour * $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
