Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Safely deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations * Operate and control mixing functions to ensure product quality meets specifications * Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation accurately * Communicate with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers to coordinate efficient deliveries * Clean and maintain the truck to ensure safe operation and a professional appearance **What Are We Looking For** * Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely * Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible driving practices * Ability to manage time, follow delivery schedules, and adapt to changing job site conditions * Mechanical awareness to identify basic equipment or vehicle issues * Effective communication skills and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $30.92 to $32.92 per hour * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Provide your feedback on BizChat --------------------------------
