We invite you to partner with us in our mission to improve mental healthcare. **Job Title:** Recovery Counselor, On-Call **Division/Program:** Crisis Residential Program **Starting Compensation:** 21.02 - 25.22 USD Per Hour **Working Location:** Sacramento: Crisis Residential Program (In-Person Position) **Working Hours/Shift:** On Call, AM / PM / NOC Shift, 8 hours per week **Why Join Our Team?**  * **Competitive Compensation**: Offering a salary that matches your skills and experience. * **Generous Time Off**: Enjoy ample vacation and holiday pay. **Comprehensive Benefits Package**: * Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage. * Additional voluntary benefits to support your lifestyle. **Professional Growth Opportunities**: * On-the-job training with access to paid CEU opportunities. * Career development programs designed to help you grow. * Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable). **Employee Recognition & Rewards**: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication **What you bring to SBHG** (qualifications)**:** * **Licensing:** Valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance and must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy. * **Certification:** Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist (MHRS) certification required (can be obtained after hire).. **Recovery Counselor I** * **Education/Experience:** High school diploma (or equivalent) plus **one year** of full-time experience in consumer-directed services within a mental health, healthcare, or social services setting. **Recovery Counselor II** _Requires one of the following education and experience combinations:_ * **Associate degree:** Plus, **six years** of experience in the mental health field. * **Bachelor’s Degree (Mental Health Field):** Plus, **four years** of experience in the mental health field. * **Master’s Degree (Mental Health Field):** Plus, **two years** of experience in the mental health field. **How you will make a difference** (job overview): This position has primary responsibility for providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of the clients through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction.  Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, or designee, in most cases, but some tasks are accomplished independently. **Division/Program Overview:** * **Programs:** Voluntary Residential Program for Transition-Age Youth (TAY)  * **Population Served:** At-risk Transition-Age Youth (TAY) needing a higher level of care short of psychiatric hospitalization | Capacity: Up to 15 youth  * **Facility & Setting:** 24/7 Voluntary Residential Facility  * **Clinical Services:** Individual therapy, group rehabilitation, medication management, and clinical case management  * **Length of Stay:** Extended residential treatment timeline _(varies based on individual stabilization, recovery, and housing transition goals)_  * **Skills & Transition:**  * Educational guidance, vocational training/support, and housing placement/location assistance  * Recovery-oriented care, peer support, life skills development, and community connection building  **Learn more about SBHG at**: [https://www.starsinc.com/stars-inc/](https://www.starsinc.com/stars-inc/) **For Additional Information:** [email protected]
