Regional Manager – Scientific and Medical Affairs Manager - Mumbai

**JOB DESCRIPTION:** -------------------- **MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**   * Responsible for development & shaping of different therapy areas, product cycle management, need assessment for new product launch and positioning, team and talent development, data and concept generation, planning, and execution of medico- marketing activities, key opinion leader management and ensuring business compliance. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**   **Strategy** * Lead Medical Affairs activities in assigned territory * Consolidate and communicate trends, market insights, and unmet needs identified in the field **Operations** * Positively impact external perceptions and knowledge regarding TA and product science * Maintain and demonstrate comprehensive and in-depth scientific TA knowledge when executing assigned tactics * Ensure operational excellence – medical initiatives * Training to internal team – Onboarding, induction, refresher **Data generation & dissemination** * Provide Local input & coordinate in providing support for studies & publications * Provide briefing to Speaker HCPs for Medical Education Program * Represent company at Medical Education events, programs, meetings **Stakeholder engagement** * Develop and execute KOL engagement plans * Identify and engage new KOLs * Identify and interact with influential members of the Medical community (HCPs/KOLs) within assigned territory and TA **QUALIFICATIONS**   **Minimum Education** MD - Pharmacology and MBBS **Education Level** **Major/Field of Study** Medicine **Experience/Background**   * Minimum 2 years  **The base pay for this position is** N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. **JOB FAMILY:** --------------- Medical & Scientific Affairs **DIVISION:** ------------- ANRD Nutrition Research & Development **LOCATION:** ------------- India > Mumbai : BKC Building **ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:** ------------------------- **WORK SHIFT:** --------------- Standard **TRAVEL:** ----------- Yes, 50 % of the Time **MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:** ------------------------- Not Applicable **SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:** -------------------------------- Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
