**Summary** **Job Description:** **Registered Dietitian I** **Full Time – 5 Days/Week 0800-1630 – Holidays, Weekends, and On-Call** Responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, employees, and the community in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health. **Job Duties:** * Establishes and implements a standardized Nutrition Care Process to identify and treat those patients requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy. * Maintains pertinent patient data necessary to recommend, prescribe, or modify therapeutic diets as needed to meet the nutritional needs of the patients. * Develops and provides nutrition education/counseling to patients, patient family, and patient caretakers. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) * Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or registry eligible (must obtain within 6 months of hire) * Licensed Dietitian in the state of Kentucky (must obtain within 3 months of hire or within 3 months of obtaining credentials) **Preferred Requirements:** * One year experience as a Registered Dietitian preferred **Benefits:** * Tuition Assistance reimbursement program * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets) * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
