**Your role at St John of God Ballarat Hospital**
We are currently seeking passionate and experienced **Registered Midwives and Dual Registered Nurse Midwives** to join our supportive Maternity team at **St John of God Ballarat Hospital**.

Our midwives play a vital role in supporting women, babies and their families through one of lifeβs most significant experiences. You will provide personalised care throughout the **antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal journey**, building trusted relationships and ensuring every family feels supported, informed and cared for.
You will have the opportunity to work across our **antenatal clinics and services, maternity wards, birth suites and Special Care Nursery**, providing comprehensive care to women and newborns across a diverse range of clinical presentations.

**The Position**
* Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
* Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the ward and within the hospital.
* Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
* Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff.
* Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a **Registered Nurse Midwife** or **Registered Midwife**, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

**We can offer you:**Β
* Salary **$85,480 to $107,881 per annum plus 12% superannuation**
* Casual Hourly Rate: **$53.90 to $68.03 per hour** (inclusive of casual loading)
