**Summary** **Job Description:** **Registered Nurse Med-Surg- Full Time, Days** **Status: Full Time** **Shift: First** **Job Summary:** A registered nurse implements the nursing process for each patient/resident (pediatric to geriatrics depending on scope of care in the nursing department in which he/she works) assigned to his/her care. **Responsibilities:** * Assesses patient clinical status. * Develops a plan of care. * Implementation of the nursing plan of care. * Evaluation of the effectiveness of the care plan. * Communication and validation of patient care information. **Requirements:** Associate’s Degree in Nursing required. Active Kentucky RN License. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
