**Summary** **Job Description:** **Registered Nurse - PACU** **Full-Time 9a - 5:30p / 4 - 8 Hour Shifts Per Week** **Call and Weekend Rotation Required** The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. * Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. * Follows the professional standards of care. * Applies evidence, professional standards, and best practice to bedside caregiving through critical thinking, experiential evidence, and evidence-based practices. * Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients. * Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital. **Requirements:** * Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. * Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. * Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.  * Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire. * Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Recent experience in specialty preferred. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution. **Benefits:** * ​Tuition Assistance reimbursement program  * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire  * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets)  * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
