**Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt)**
Department: **Emergency Department**
Location: **Mercy Hospital Logan County - Guthrie, OK**
Status: **PRN - flexible hours and scheduling!**
Shift**: Varies/rotating**
Mercy Hospital Logan County is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Guthrie, Oklahoma providing care to Observation, Inpatient and Swing patients. Our unit Patient/Nurse ratio is 5:1. Nursing staff work closely with the Therapy department to provide coordinated, excellent care to facilitate the highest level of return to pre-hospitalization lifestyle.
**Qualifications:**
* **Education**: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
* **Licensure**: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
* **Experience:** None required; at least six months of experience as an LPN or RN preferred.
* **Physical requirements/demands**: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
* **Required Certifications (**training provided by Mercy during the orientation period if not already certified):
* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
* BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
* Other unit specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
