Registered Nurse Progressive Care

**Summary** **Job Description:** **Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit** **$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates** **Part-Time 7a - 7p** The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. * Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. * Follows the professional standards of care. * Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients. * Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital. **Requirements:** * Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. * Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. * Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. * Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.  * National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire. * Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Recent experience in specialty preferred. * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution. **Benefits:** * ​Tuition Assistance reimbursement program  * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire  * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets)  ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
