At Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ), our Residential Aged Care team is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive and values-driven environment. We are seeking casual Registered Nurses to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts at our residential facilities located in **Bray Park**. As a **Casual Registered Nurse**, you will demonstrate excellent clinical capability, strong leadership skills, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care. You will be supported with ongoing professional development and opportunities for growth within our services. **You Will:** * Conduct comprehensive assessments, care planning, and direct nursing care using a biopsychosocial model to optimise residents’ independence * Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision to Carers, Assistants in Nursing, and Enrolled Nurses, acting as a role model for professional practice * Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety, infection control, and safe work practices * Provide accurate written and verbal reports on residents’ social, physical, and emotional wellbeing to Clinical Nurses and Assistant Managers * Collaborate with the clinical leadership team to achieve quality outcomes for residents **What We’re Looking For:** * Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to best-practice care * Demonstrated clinical nursing proficiency and understanding of contemporary nursing theory and care documentation models * Generalist Registered Nursing experience, with aged care experience highly desirable * Ability to quickly develop a sound understanding of aged care legislation and standards and apply them in daily practice
