Reliability Maintenance Manager

**Job Description:** * Work with key stakeholders, building strong relationships & outstanding service * Home of many well-loved brands such as Snickers, Maltesers and M&Ms * **Permanent Full-Time Opportunity** with fantastic perks, including **free onsite parking**  Bring your passion for continuous improvement, maintenance and team leadership to life in our Reliability Manager position at Mars Ballarat. In this role you will oversee a team of 13 reliability technicians, providing maintenance expertise and leadership, with a primary objective of optimising reliability, safety, productivity, quality, efficiency and environmental impact. With your leadership you will continue to build and manage a continuous improvement culture, with teamwork as the foundation to how we show up to support the wider factory in achieving mutual outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise the Reliability department providing continuous guidance, support and training. * Respond efficiently to engineering and information requests from external departments, to generate solutions and work orders. * Control labour, equipment and maintenance costs whilst ensuring the availability of adequate change parts and consumables. * Develop, implement and execute the weekly maintenance plan * Working in partnership with other departments to provide timely project outcomes, including: * estimation, planning, sourcing, supervision, commissioning and training. * Development of a continuous improvement culture by involving relevant personnel in the ongoing identification, development and implementation of improvements. * Review and approve Associate work requests and other ad hoc maintenance requirements. * Ability to diagnose and evaluate equipment issues. **What are we looking for?** * Engineering degree preferred, but not essential. * TPM experience preferred, but not essential. * Mechanical/Electrical certification. * Strong people management, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop your direct reports. * Familiarity working with SAP PM. * Continuous improvement and ability to navigate and confidently influence change across multiple departments and stakeholders. * Excellent problem-solving skills. **What can you expect from Mars?**  * Work with over 140,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.  * Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.  * Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.  Internal applicants: This role has been graded as a B5 opportunity, please ensure you’ve discussed your application with your Line Manager prior to applying including obtaining their endorsement.
