In this role, you will work alongside reporting specialists, business analysts, and stakeholders to develop data-driven insights, support reporting operations, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of reporting frameworks and data solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * **Agile Reporting Development (GCP & Power BI):** Participate in Scrum-based development sprints to design, build, and deploy interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Power BI. * **Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with Business Analysts and report stakeholders to understand business requirements, document reporting needs, and translate them into effective reporting solutions. * **Operational Job Monitoring:** Monitor daily reporting operations, automated jobs, and data pipelines to ensure scheduled reporting processes run smoothly. Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving reporting issues or anomalies. * **Change Request Assessment:** Support the evaluation of user change requests by analysing the technical impact on existing reports, assessing feasibility, and assisting with implementation planning. * **Quality Assurance & Documentation:** Maintain technical documentation, data models, and reporting specifications while conducting quality assurance testing to ensure dashboards and reports meet business requirements before release. **Preferred Skills/Qualifications** * **Education:** Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, or related disciplines. * **Google Cloud Platform (GCP):** Familiarity with GCP services, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage. * **Business Intelligence & Reporting:** Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualisation tools. * **Data Engineering Knowledge:** Understanding of data pipeline architecture, data integration processes, and batch or streaming data processing concepts. * **Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:** Strong ability to analyse data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. * **Agile Mindset:** Interest in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced development environment. * **Communication & Collaboration:** Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders. **Why Join Us** As a Reporting Intern, you'll gain valuable exposure to modern cloud-based reporting and analytics environments while contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
