Resident Technical Officer

**Responsibilities** * Assist Consultants/ Professional Engineers (M&E) / Clients in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site; * Provide standing supervision as and when required by the Consultants / Clients; * Ensure all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications; * Liaise and close coordination with RE and RTO of other disciplines; * Liaise with the contractors/ sub-contractors in the coordination of site works; * Highlight discrepancies, resolve site M&E issues and monitor site progress; * Feedback site progress and irregularities to Consultants / Clients; * Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning; * Check as-built drawings to tally with site installation; * Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site; * Document site records, ie. Inspection records, T&C records, site meetings etc. **Requirements** * ITE/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution and registered with IES / ACES as a Resident Technical Officer * Minimum 5-8 years of M&E work experience as a Resident Technical Officer * Conversant in local construction practices in air-conditioning, electrical, ELV, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary services, BMS * Good co-ordination skills * Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills. * Self-motivated, proactive and team player At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
