**Respiratory Therapy Student – PRN**
Join our patient-focused team and gain valuable hands-on experience while completing your Respiratory Therapy education. Under the supervision of a credentialed Respiratory Therapist, you will administer respiratory treatments and tests, maintain equipment, and contribute to high-quality patient care across all age groups.
**What You’ll Do**
* Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and diagnostic tests
* Perform cleaning and preventive maintenance on respiratory equipment
* Document procedures and patient information accurately
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
* Provide care in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
**Minimum Requirements**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Currently enrolled in an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
* Completed at least the 1st semester of clinical rotations
* Current Missouri education permit
* Current CPR certification (required for continued employment)
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; assistance required for heavier loads
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of the human development process and ability to work with all ages
* RRT credential must be obtained within six weeks of program graduation
