Restaurant Server - Seasonal

**Job Details:** **SALARY:** $5.40 per hour plus tips APPLICATIONS ARE HELD ON FILE FOR 45 DAYS. THIS POSITION IS HIRED IN THE GOLF DIVISION OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT. **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:** * Provide a dining experience that meets or exceeds guest expectations * Process guest orders that are prepared properly and on a timely basis * Submit food orders to kitchen using a restaurant point-of-sale system * Observe diners to ensure that guests are satisfied and respond to additional requests * Maintain cleanliness of front-of-the-house area * Clear tables after guests leave * Remove litter, mop floors, and clean service areas * Provide assistance in the kitchen, receive deliveries, and restock supplies as necessary * Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages. **MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS:** * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Permit and TABC permit. **PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING:** * Criminal background check * Drug/alcohol testing City of Arlington is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
