**Thank you for considering a career at Mercy Health!** **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 **Work Shift:** Days (United States of America) **Retail Associate** – **St. Rita's Medical Center** _Tuesday – Saturday_ _Required to work at both Gift and Thrift Shop._ _Daytime hours, but may vary slightly depending on need._ **Primary Function/General Purpose of Position** The Retail Associate provides exceptional service to customers and staff while supporting the daily operations of the retail shop. This role is responsible for assisting customers, operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining merchandise displays, and ensuring a welcoming, organized retail environment. **Essential Job Functions** * Greet and assist customers in a friendly, compassionate, and professional manner. * Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. * Handle cash, credit card, and electronic payments in accordance with organizational procedures. * Restock shelves and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays. * Monitor inventory levels. * Assist customers with product selection and special requests as needed. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, including privacy and safety standards. * Support special promotions, seasonal displays, and events. * Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary. * May assist with training and support for volunteers based on specific location needs. _This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
