Headquartered in San Francisco, our investors include **Benchmark**, **General Catalyst**, **Peter Thiel**, **Adam D'Angelo**, **Larry Summers**, and **Jack Dorsey**. **Position:** Radio Frequency and Electromagnetic Engineering Expert **Type:****Contract** **Compensation:****$80–$95/hour** **Location:****Remote** **Duration:****Short-term project** ### Role Responsibilities * Solve complex technical problems involving **RF** and **electromagnetic engineering**. * Analyze **RF/EM systems**, components, antennas, circuits, and architectures. * Apply **electromagnetic theory**, **RF principles**, and engineering methodologies to real-world scenarios. * Evaluate design trade-offs, performance limitations, calculations, assumptions, and proposed solutions. * Review and validate technical approaches and results, providing technically rigorous solutions and explanations. * Follow project-specific technical guidelines and evaluation criteria. ### Qualifications **Must-Have** * **Experienced **RF**, **Electromagnetic**, **Microwave**, **Antenna**, or related engineering professionals with hands-on industry experience.** * ****Bachelor's**, **Master's**, or **PhD** in **Electrical Engineering**, **Electronics Engineering**, **RF Engineering**, **Electromagnetics**, or a related field.** * **Strong understanding of **electromagnetic theory**, **RF engineering principles**, and signal propagation.** * **Practical experience in **RF and microwave systems**, **antenna design and analysis**, **electromagnetic simulation and modeling**, **RF circuits and components**, **EMC/EMI**, **wireless communications**, **radar**, **RF propagation and channel modeling**, **RF measurement and testing**.** * **Experience with tools such as **HFSS**, **CST**, **COMSOL**, **MATLAB**, **ADS**, or equivalent is a plus.** ### **Preferred** * **Advanced degree in **RF Engineering**, **Electromagnetics**, **Electrical Engineering**, or a related field.** * **Experience with **microwave** or **millimeter-wave systems**, **antenna arrays**, **phased arrays**, **beamforming**, or **MIMO**.** * **Experience in **radar**, **wireless communications**, **satellite communications**, or **RF sensing**.** * **Experience with **electromagnetic simulation**, **RF characterization**, and laboratory testing.** * **Experience translating theoretical **RF/EM concepts** into practical engineering solutions.** * **Research experience or publications in **RF**, **electromagnetics**, **antennas**, or related fields is a plus.** ### **Application Process (Takes 20–30 mins to complete)** * **Upload resume** * **AI interview based on your resume** * **Submit form** ### **Resources & Support** * **For details about the interview process and platform information, please check:** * **For any help or support, reach out to:** **_PS: Our team reviews applications daily.
