**_Job Description:_**
**Counterparty Risk Analysis**
* Perform due diligence of new and existing counterparties (banks, broker-dealers, hedge funds, corporates, etc.); Assess creditworthiness and assign internal credit ratings scores.
* Prescribe credit terms & covenants for legal documentations such as ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA etc.
* Recommend and set appropriate counterparty limits and initial margin terms.
**Exposure Measurement & Monitoring**
* Calculate and monitor current and potential future exposures for derivative portfolios and securities financing transactions.
* Continuously monitor counterparty exposures against approved counterparty limits and market conditions to identify potential risks.
* Oversee the collateral management process related to counterparty risk (margin calls, disputes, eligibility of collateral).
* Manage limit excesses: investigate causes, escalate breaches, and work with Front Office to remediate.
**Reporting & Communication**
* Prepare clear and concise risk reports. Communicate risk findings, limit breaches, and recommendations effectively to Front Office, Senior Management, and Collateral teams.
* Participate in regulatory examinations and audits.
* Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk policies and procedures.
_**Qualification:**_
* Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
* Strong analytical skills for risk modeling and financial analysis.
* Solid programming skills to handle quantitative data analysis independently.
* Detail oriented and ability to multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient oral and writing skills in Mandarin and English, Cantonese is a plus.
