**Summary** **Job Description:** **Seeking Registered Nurse** **Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Inpatient Unit** **Part-time (24 Hours Weekly), Mid-Shift (10:30am-11pm)** **Benefit Eligible** **$$ Sign on Bonus Eligible for External Candidates Only $$** **Job Duties:** In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. **About the Unit:** Surgical Inpatient Services also known as SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. LPNs and RNs work with a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and care for higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office. SIPS is a wonderful unit for New Graduate LPNs and RNs who want exposure to a wide variety of patients. **Qualifications:** Current Indiana or compact state RN license BLS for Healthcare provider required **Baptist Health Floyd is a Pathway to Excellence® designated organization.**  We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.  We are conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Louisville at 1850 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150.
