Room Service Associate

**Summary** **Job Description:** **Room Service Associate** **Full Time, First Shift** Responsible for serving meals to patients in a professional and efficient manner. **Job Duties:** * Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations. * Demonstrates knowledge of all therapeutic diets and the proper foods and condiments served with the particular diets. * Gives all patients an opportunity to order their meals including calling isolation patients for their selections. * Interacts with nursing to ensure patients’ diet prescriptions are accurate, and patients’ food needs are met. * Offers alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies and sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. **Preferred Requirements:** * High School Diploma/GED * One to three months’ experience * Food Handler card or Servsafe certificate preferred **Benefits:** * Tuition Assistance reimbursement program * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets) * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
