About the role ============== The Runner/Shop Helper supports the Alvin, TX daily warehouse operations under supervision by assisting personnel with routine tasks. This entry-level role focuses on safely performing basic duties while developing proficiency in equipment operation. The position also requires driving a company vehicle to various locations to pick up materials. **Main tasks and responsibilities:**   * Keep the shop clean, safe and organized. * Transport parts between Alvin and La Porte facilities with company owned vehicle * Transport parts by forklift to various locations on the property as needed. * Practice Lean principles in daily work participate in LEAN events. * Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safest working and continual improvement. **Requirements:** * Must have transportation to the Alvin, TX location * Clean driving record * Forklift experience is preferred, not required. * Experience in a warehouse setting. * Willing to work weekends and OT when needed.
