Line of Business: Other **Safety Summer Intern** **About Us** Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Support site safety audits and inspections to identify improvement opportunities. * Assist in the development and delivery of safety training materials. * Participate in incident investigations and help implement corrective actions. * Analyze safety data and contribute to reporting and compliance efforts. * Collaborate with teams to promote a strong safety culture across operations. **What Are We Looking For** * Currently pursuing a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field. Rising Junior or Senior. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and in team settings. * Interest in applying safety principles in an industrial environment. **Work Environment** This internship includes both office and field work at an industrial site. Interns will be exposed to outdoor conditions, operational equipment, and varying weather. Safety is a core value, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required.
