Safety Supervisor

Our new plant in Liberia, Costa Rica is an Industry 4.0 site, designed with advanced engineering, digital systems, and safety by design. We are looking for a **Safety Supervisor** to lead a high‑performance safety culture, working alongside the plant team to bring our belief that **“Zero Is Possible”** to life. This role combines strategic leadership and technical expertise, driving risk‑based decision‑making, robust management systems, and disciplined execution in a world‑class industrial environment. If you are passionate about safety, technology, and leadership, and want to leave your mark in a modern, future‑ready plant, this opportunity is for you. **What you will do for us:** * Lead and continuously improve the **Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001)**. * Develop and execute the **annual safety program** and prevention plans. * Manage **risk assessments, internal audits, and readiness for external audits**. * Drive **safety by design, management of change, and engineering controls**. * Measure and analyze safety indicators to enable **predictive prevention**. * Coordinate **training, emergency response, and incident investigations**. * Promote a **strong, collaborative, and sustainable safety culture**. **Requirements:** * University degree in **Occupational Health, Industrial Safety, or a related technical field**. * **7+ years of experience** in safety, preferably in industrial plants (food and beverage experience is a plus). * Experience **leading technical teams** and working with **ISO 45001**. * **Advanced English** (spoken and written). * Knowledge of **risk management, auditing, safety engineering, and data analysis**. * **Residing in or willing to relocate to Liberia, Guanacaste** (100% on‑site – non‑negotiable). **Skills:** **Location(s):** Costa Rica **City/Cities:** Liberia **Travel Required:** 00% - 25% **Relocation Provided:** No **Job Posting End Date:** August 16, 2026 **Our Purpose and Growth Culture:** We are taking deliberate action to nurture an inclusive culture that is grounded in our company purpose, to refresh the world and make a difference.
