Job Description
Amazon MGM Studios seeks a Theatrical Booking & Distribution Analyst for Italy.The position supports the execution of theatrical distribution plans through booking activities, market analysis, commercial reporting and operational coordination. Working closely with the Distribution team and exhibition partners, it contributes to optimizing market coverage, box office performance and the successful execution of each theatrical release.This position reports to the Head of Italy Theatrical Distribution.The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Telecommunication Sector. The position is classified at level 6 or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience.Key job responsibilities- Support booking activities, working closely with exhibitors and the Distribution team.- Analyze market territories and cinema landscapes to support screen allocation and release execution.- Monitor daily and weekly box office performance, hold patterns and market trends, providing data-driven insights to support commercial decisions.- Develop and maintain reporting and forecasting tools to monitor theatrical performance and support release planning.- Prepare regular box office reports, post-release analyses and commercial presentations for internal stakeholders.- Contribute to the evaluation of theatrical projects through market analysis, box office benchmarking and commercial assessments.- Manage booking confirmations, deal memos, settlement processes and coordinate accurate invoicing with the Finance team.- Coordinate the planning and delivery of trailers, promotional materials and distribution assets to exhibitors.- Execute KDM (Key Delivery Message) operations and manage relationships with preferred Content Delivery Service providers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of theatrical content.- Support the implementation, testing, training and continuous improvement of Sales & Booking systems.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in analysing data and creating reports for leadership- Experience in theatrical distribution, sales support, business analysis or operational roles within the entertainment industry.- Strong understanding of the theatrical exhibition landscape and distribution processes.- Strong analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment- Knowledge of the Italian theatrical exhibition market dynamics and trends.- Familiarity with film industry economics, revenue models and box office analytics.- Understanding of theatrical release planning and distribution workflows.- Experience preparing commercial reports, forecasts and business presentations.Amazon is an equal opportunities employer. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA.
