Waste Connections has an immediate opening for an **Outside Sales Rep** to join our team in **Acworth, GA**. Our Outside Sales Rep will work directly with the District Sales Manager to formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans for the hauling company.  We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role. **Waste Connections offers:** * Competitive Base Salary _plus_ Commission. * Guaranteed commission for first 3 months with the completion of on-boarding. * Company paid cell phone & Microsoft Surface Pro. * Mileage reimbursement. * Annual Chairman’s Club recognition for top national performers. * Benefits Plans – Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Account options. * Generous matching 401(K) and Paid Time Off. **Schedule:** Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed for community events. **Benefits:** We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, parental leave, & 401(K). **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Selling commercial waste removal and disposal services. * Preparing proposals, calling on new and existing customers, and utilizing /owning our Salesforce driven CRM tool, ARES. * Being the main point of contact for a current book of business of commercial accounts. * Interacting with customers, non-profit, business associations, and trade shows. * Gathering contract expiration dates, documenting existing customer concerns, and working with other departments to satisfy customer requests for service. * 70% of your time will be spent in your designated territory, prospecting, building relationships, and exploring market opportunities. * 30% of this position will be spent in the office doing team building, strategic planning, and account management. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s Degree _preferred_. * Reliable transportation required. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
