Sales Specialist - 1 Year Contract Lombardia

**JOB DESCRIPTION:** -------------------- **1. Primary Objective of Position** Increases sales and market share of Abbott Diabetes Care(ADC) products through the sale of all available diabetes products. Is responsible to achieve sales plan for the assigned sales territory. **2. Major Accountabilities** Main tasks include: * Develops and implements plans in order to create sales, maintain and expand ADC business. * Keeps current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources. * Maintains good relationships with customers and visits them on a regular basis. * Collaborate with Distributors and their agents on project dedicated to Pharmacies * Writes weekly reports about which customers he has visited. * Understands and conveys information professionally and accurately. * Has acquired experience and maturity on glucose monitoring marketplace * Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements. * Target: **GENERAL PRACTITIONER** **3. Education** * Degree in science as biology, pharmacy or Economics with proper experience (three - five years). **4. Background** * Knows ADC products, their applications and competitors (instruments, technologies, strategies) * Knows and applies ADC procedures, policies and code of business conduct. * Has an elementary knowledge of English language. * Knows how to operate standard software packages. * Has a knowledge on how to sell and which strategy to use. **5. Geography: Lombardia** **The base pay for this position is** N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted. **JOB FAMILY:** --------------- Sales Force **DIVISION:** ------------- ADC Diabetes Care **LOCATION:** ------------- Italy > Rome : Via Giorgio Ribotta 9 **ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:** ------------------------- **WORK SHIFT:** --------------- Standard **TRAVEL:** ----------- Yes, 75 % of the Time **MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE:** ------------------------- Not Applicable **SIGNIFICANT WORK ACTIVITIES:** -------------------------------- Not Applicable
