Sap Abap Developer

### This is a remote position. We are looking for an experienced **SAP ABAP / S/4HANA Service Developer** to join an international Customer Service transformation program on **4 days per week basis**. The role focuses on developing and enhancing SAP S/4HANA Service solutions, supporting migration initiatives, and contributing to a modern, scalable service architecture. You will work within a skilled, cross-functional team in a dynamic environment with a strong emphasis on continuous delivery, innovation, and long-term solution evolution. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA Service (Advanced Execution) solutions * Support S/4HANA migration projects and ongoing system improvements * Contribute to a continuous delivery setup and multi-year service modernization roadmap * Design and build SAP Fiori / UI5 applications using modern UX principles * Implement business requirements using: * Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements * CDS Views and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) * OData services (V2/V4) * Design and maintain integrations and interfaces: * RFC, IDocs, OData, Web Services, ABAP Proxy * Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders * Provide technical consulting to SAP Inhouse teams and IT projects * Support: * Quality management processes * Custom code lifecycle management * 3rd-level support and troubleshooting ### Requirements * Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field * Several years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development * Strong expertise in SAP CS or S/4HANA Service environments * Solid experience with: * SAP Fiori / UI5 * CDS Views and RAP * Modern ABAP development practices * Experience working with integrations and interface technologies (RFC, IDoc, OData, APIs) * Ability to work effectively in both agile and traditional delivery models * Strong analytical mindset with a structured and independent way of working * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Fluent English (German is a plus) **Nice to Have:** * Experience with additional SAP modules * Knowledge of: * SAP Workflow * SAP Script / Adobe Forms * Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or practices ### Benefits * Fully remote, international project environment * Long-term engagement potential beyond initial contract * Opportunity to work on cutting-edge S/4HANA Service solutions * Collaborative and highly skilled consulting team * Exposure to large-scale transformation and modernization programs Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
