Scheduler Insurance Specialist - Mercy South - Full Time

**Find your calling at Mercy!** =============================== The Clinic Scheduler/Insurance Specialist is responsible for multiple facets of patient financial account services within the practice; including but not limited to patient benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination for services, and referrals management. This individual also coordinates all aspects of surgery scheduling. Schedules all appointments for patients requiring surgery and revises/cancels appointments as necessary. Acts as an interdepartmental liaison and maintains familiarity with scheduling functions. Epic experience required **Other Skills and Knowledge:** Medical terminology. Computer skills. Telephone etiquette.
