Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a **Scheduling Coordinator** to join our busy Vascular Surgery practice. In this essential role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for patients and collaborate with multiple healthcare teams to ensure seamless scheduling and exceptional patient care. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will: * Schedule patient appointments, procedures, testing, and surgeries both in person and over the phone. * Coordinate surgical procedures with physicians, hospitals, and specialty providers, including combined cases with Plastic Surgery. * Work collaboratively with departments such as Nurse Navigation, Genetics, Oncology, Surgery Scheduling, Plastic Surgery, and Radiology. * Ensure patient medical records are updated accurately and promptly. * Communicate scheduling details clearly with patients, providers, and healthcare teams. * Scan and upload patient records into OnBase. * Obtain insurance authorizations for procedures and services. * Perform additional administrative and clerical duties to support the practice. ### What We’re Looking For **Preferred Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent. * One to three years of clerical experience in a physician office or healthcare setting. * Experience with medical office software and scheduling applications. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities. ### Why Join Baptist Health Medical Group?
