**Job Title:  Graduate Assistant Social Media Associate** Department: Nido R. Qubein School of Communication/MA - Communication and Business Leadership program Supervisor: Michelle Devlin Starting Rate of Pay:  $12.00/hour Length of Time: Eligible for rehire on a semester basis **Department Description** The Nido R. Qubein School of Communication (NQSC) houses 7 majors, 7 minors, and over 800 undergraduate students.  The Master of Arts in Communication and Business Leadership program currently has over 200 majors, with some face-to-face and some online.  We are looking for a graduate student to promote the Qubein School of Communication through our various social media channels. **Job Location/ Hours Required** The candidate will perform most/all job duties in the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires up to 10 hours per week. **Responsibilities**: * **Works with School of Communication faculty to promote the various programs on social media** * **Creates material and graphics to share on social media sites** * **Monitors social media sites as needed** **Required Qualifications:** * Strong written and verbal skills * Well-organized and able to meet deadlines * Excellent copy editing/proofreading skills **Desired Skills:** Must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA
