**Job Title:** Scientist II, Analytics & Metrology **Job Description:** **The Role:**   Seeking R&D Chemist/Chemical Engineer work at Global Metrology and Analytical team at Yonezawa Particle Lab.  The candidate is responsible for leading particle testing and performance testing for liquid filter product development and Application development.  The candidate will be expected mainly to operate Particle testing instruments and filter testing tools at Yonezawa Particle Lab.  The candidate is also expected overseeing lab technician to operate particle testing tool safely working with hazardous chemicals.   Create own test schedule, prepare test samples, conduct trouble shooting, and create reports for requesters.    **グローバルメトロロジー****アンドアナリィティックス所属の米沢パーティクルラボ**において、**R&Dケミスト／化学エンジニア**を募集しています。このポジションでは、液体用フィルターの新製品開発および応用技術開発に向けた**粒子試験および****ろ過****性能試験を主導**していただきます。  主な業務内容は、米沢パーティクルラボにおける**粒子試験装置およびフィルター試験装置の操作**です。また、**有害化学物質を取り扱う粒子測定装置を安全に運用できるよう、ラボ技術員の監督****業務**も担当していただきます。  そのほか、**試験スケジュールの立案、試験サンプルの準備、トラブルシューティングの実施、依頼者向けのレポート作成**業務も担当していただきます。  **In this role you will:**   * Perform particle testing based on established methods. Mainly conduct filtration testing at Yonezawa particle Lab.   * Filtration testing includes hazardous chemical operation.  The operation must follow the rule and regulation not only from OSHA but also Entegris rules.  * Maintain a safe laboratory environment through compliance with Entegris policies.   * Communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.  * Successfully apply test results into scientific principles, theories and concepts for each project.   * Work with Product RD and Application engineering for testing.   * Participate in site Continuous Improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency.   * Create test SOP, test plan and test reports, and other technical documents as required.   * Collaborate with and support other internal functional groups as needed.    * Any other duties as assigned.   * 既定の標準試験手法に基づいた**粒子試験を実施**する。主に**米沢パーティクルラボにおいてろ過試験を実施**する。  * ろ過試験には**有害化学物質の取り扱い**が含まれるため、**OSHA（労働安全衛生規則）だけでなく、Entegrisの社内規則および手順を遵守**して作業を行う必要がある。  * Entegrisのポリシーを遵守することで、**安全な実験室環境を維持**する。  * **書面によるレポートおよび口頭での発表**を通じて、試験結果をグループ内外に共有する。  * 各プロジェクトにおいて、**試験結果を****工****学的原理、理論、概念に基づいて適切に****考察**する。  * **新製品開発****および****応用技術****エンジニアリングチームと連携**し、試験業務を行う。  * **安全・品質・効率**の観点から、米沢工場における**継続的改善（CI）活動に参画**する。  * 必要に応じて、**試験SOP、試験計画書、試験報告書、その他の技術文書を作成**する。  * 必要に応じて、**社内の他部門と連携し、****その****支援を行う**。  * **その他、割り当てられた業務を遂行する。**  **Traits we believe make a strong candidate:**  * A bachelor or higher degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering must  * 5\-10 years of lab experience using analytical equipment w/ equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred.  * Hands on experience and thorough knowledge for hazardous chemicals must.  * Prior experience working in cleanroom environment preferred.   * Prior experience Microsoft office preferred.   * Ability to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal and external audiences.   * Strong written and verbal communication skills must.    * Strong personnel team building skills. Good Team player.  * Well organized.   * Primarily in the laboratory, occasionally in manufacturing process areas that may include a clean room environment.    * Good English communication skill preferred, and willing to learn must.   * **化学または化学工学分野における学士号以上**を有していること（必須）。  * **分析機器を使用した5～10年程度のラボ実務経験**を有し、各種分析装置、製造装置に関する経験、知識および**トラブルシューティング能力**があれば尚可。  * **有害化学物質を取り扱う****業務****経験および十分な知識**を有していること（必須）。  * **クリーンルーム環境での勤務経験**があれば尚可。  * **Microsoft Office（Word、Excel、PowerPoint 等）の使用経験**があれば尚可。  * 社内外の関係者に対して、**技術的な情報や考えを明確に伝える能力**を有していること。  * **優れた文書作成能力および口頭でのコミュニケーション能力**を有していること（必須）。  * **チームビルディング力が高く、****協調性のあるチームプレーヤー**であること。  * **整理整頓能力が高い**こと。  * 主な勤務場所は**実験室**であるが、必要に応じて**クリーンルーム環境を含む製造プロセスエリアでの業務**が発生する場合がある。  * **英語でのコミュニケーション能力**があれば尚可。あわせて、**学習意欲があること**。  **Your success will be measured by:**  * Provide accurate test results on timely manner.  * Maintain instrument as best condition as available.   * Statistically prove the instrument maintained as best condition as available.  * Gain trust from test requester for the test results of outcome.  * Enable lab testing capability to beyond.  * Enable lab testing efficiency to beyond.  * Enable lab test accuracy to beyond.  * Enable lab operational safety to beyond.  * **試験結果を****正確に****、期限内に****報告**する。  * 各試験装置を**最良の状態に維持・管理**する。  * 試験装置が最良の状態で維持されていることを、**統計的手法を用いて立証**する。  * 試験結果の妥当性および信頼性により、**試験依頼者からの信頼を獲得**する。  * **ラボ試験能力のさらなる向上**を実現する。  * **ラボ試験の効率性を一段と向上**させる。  * **ラボ試験の精度を一段と高める。**  * **ラボ運用における安全性を一段と向上**させる。
