We are looking to fill a Scientist III- Potency Assay position working as **a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment** onsite at one of our clients located in Rahway, NJ. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. **This position does not offer any sponsorship.** Scientist III – Potency Assay supports routine testing for release, stability studies, in-process, and/or cell-line development **Responsibilities** * Supports routine testing for release, stability studies, in-process, and/or cell-line development * Monitors the controlled temperature units * Completes sample submission & sample management * Maintains accurate documentation and records **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics, or a Master’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry or biologics **Required Skills and Experience** Current cellular and/or molecular biology and immunoassay experience Analysis of biologics including monoclonal antibodies and/or other therapeutic proteins in one or more of the following techniques: * Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), host cell proteins (HCP), protein-A proA), and binding potency assay * Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and basic molecular biology techniques * (gel electrophoresis, etc.) * High-throughput liquid handling system, e.g., Tecan, Bravo, etc. * Analytical software including Softmax Pro, Empower, and ChemStation * Experience with BSL2 (Biosafety Level 2) * Sample submission & sample management **About Parexel** Parexel FSP includes the CMC Operations group.
