Scrum Master

### About the Role We are looking for an experienced **Scrum Master** to support an Agile development team of approximately **10 members** working on a modern health services platform. In this role, you will facilitate Agile practices, remove impediments, and help the team deliver high-quality solutions effectively. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to improve collaboration, optimize delivery processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator and servant leader who understands Agile principles, can coach teams toward greater autonomy, and has experience working in software development environments. ### Responsibilities * Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. * Support a development team of around 10 members in applying Agile and Scrum principles effectively. * Coach the team on Agile practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement. * Work closely with the Product Owner to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning. * Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity and delivery. * Monitor team progress, identify risks, and support effective delivery planning. * Promote transparency through effective use of Agile metrics and reporting. * Encourage collaboration between engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders. * Help improve team processes, workflows, and communication practices. * Support the team in maintaining a sustainable delivery pace. * Facilitate discussions around technical challenges, dependencies, and process improvements. * Contribute to building a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture. ### Requirements * **2+ years** of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar Agile delivery role. * Proven experience supporting software development teams using Scrum methodology. * Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams. * Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and team dynamics. * Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and Agile workshops. * Ability to identify blockers and drive effective resolution. * Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. * Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms. * Ability to work effectively with distributed and remote teams. * ### Good English communication skills. ### Nice to Have * Experience working in HealthTech, SaaS, fintech, or other technology-driven industries. * Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent). * Experience supporting teams through Agile transformation. * Familiarity with software development lifecycle and engineering practices. * Experience using Agile metrics such as velocity, cycle time, burndown charts, and flow metrics. * Previous experience working with product managers and technical stakeholders. ### What We Offer * Fully remote work with flexible working hours. * Opportunity to support a team building impactful healthcare technology. * Collaboration with experienced engineers, architects, and product teams. * Professional development and Agile coaching opportunities. * A culture focused on transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement. * Competitive compensation based on experience and skills. * Supportive and collaborative working environment. **Location:** Remote **Seniority Level:** Middle Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
