Seasonal Onsite Haul Truck Driver

Waste Connections is seeking a Seasonal Onsite Haul Truck Driver to join our Madera Disposal team in Suisun City, CA! **Schedule**: Monday-Friday 9-10 hours per day, starting at 7am. Our commitment to running a successful, growing business creates endless opportunities for career advancement and a culture that values happy, motivated team members. **Duties and Responsibilities**: * Operate haul truck, water truck, and other equipment on site as needed. * Transport/unload soil and other material as needed as part of landfill cell construction. * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment. **Working Conditions**: * Work is performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and occasional rain. * The environment may be dusty, noisy, and require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as hearing protection, gloves, and safety boots. * There will be exposure to machinery and heavy equipment, so safety protocols and precautions are strictly followed. **Minimum Job Requirements**: * 2+ years of truck operating experience * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen * Ability to work effectively in various outdoor conditions, including exposure to weather elements, and a dynamic work environment.
