Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials across the site * Perform pre- and post-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition * Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and team members to coordinate operations * Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe navigation in high-traffic and active work areas * Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times **What Are We Looking For** * Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and responsibly in an industrial setting * Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail * Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate with a team * Effective communication skills and situational awareness in dynamic environments * Capability to perform routine equipment checks and identify potential maintenance needs **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $29.63 per hour * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
