To find out more visit our website at **[www.msssecurity.com.au](http://www.msssecurity.com.au/).** **About the role** We are seeking a professional **Full Time** Security Officer to join our team in **Abbott Point**. This is a great opportunity to work in a high-profile maritime environment, ensuring the safety and security of the facility and all personnel on site. _This position offers a Level 3 pay rate, plus a $2.10 port allowance per hour, First Aid allowance and applicable shift penalties._ **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Control access for personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the site. * Conduct foot patrols to ensure site safety. * Screen staff members arriving or departing the site, including ID verification. * Maintain the security of restricted zones. * Record all vehicle movements, personnel entries, and incidents in site logs. **Requirements:** * Full Australian working rights. * Valid Queensland Security Licence (Unarmed and Monitoring – or willingness to obtain (monitoring)) * QLD White Card (or willing to obtain) * Occupational First Aid - HLTSS00068 (or willing to obtain). * Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing HLTPAT010 (or willing to obtain) * Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSS will sponsor and fund)  * **Availability to work a roster pattern as follows: 5 days on (Day, 5 AM to 5PM), 4 days off, 5 days on (Night, 5 PM to 5 AM), 5 off, 4 on (day), 5 off, 5 on (night)** **Master licence – 41299** **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
