To find out more visit our website at **[www.msssecurity.com.au](http://www.msssecurity.com.au/).** **About the role** MSS Security is seeking a **Casual** Security Officer - Control Room Operator to work at the Nyaal Banyule **Geelong** Convention & Exhibition Centre, working across a 12-hour rotating roster. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, monitoring CCTV surveillance, and conducting regular patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment. **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Responsible for access control, CCTV monitoring, contractor sign in, isolations, audits, incident reports, lost property and responding to email and phone enquiries. * Monitor and respond to alarm activations. * Conduct patrols, maintain a visible security presence and provide excellent customer service. * Assist in training new Operators and provide ongoing support. * Act as the Chief Warden when required or in the absence of the Security Manager, demonstrating strong knowledge of emergency management procedures. * Act as the primary first aid responder, providing initial emergency response and carrying out warden duties. **Requirements:** * Full Australian working rights. * Valid Victorian Security Licence with the **control room subcategory**. * Valid Victorian Drivers Licence or have a reliable means of transport. * Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain). * 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster. **Master Licence Number:** 409-987-30S **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
