Supporting multiple Monash sites and a security team of 130 officers, this role goes beyond standard monitoring. We are seeking a candidate with a strong understanding of various CCTV, access control systems and investigation report writing. **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Monitor CCTV systems and alarms to ensure constant surveillance and early detection of any security risks. * Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, escalating issues as required. * Collaborate with emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents. * Regularly test and maintain security systems to ensure they are fully operational. * Provide clear and concise communication. **Ideal candidates will have:** * Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in using Milestone CCTV, Inner Range/Infiniti Security System and resolver reporting system would be preferable. * Proven experience working in a security control room and as a security officer. **Requirements:** * Full Australian working rights. * Valid Victorian Security Licence with the control room subcategory. * Working with children check (or willing to obtain). * Valid First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain). * Victorian Drivers Licence. * Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster. **Master Licence Number:** 409-987-30S **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
