We specialize in media rights, multi-channel content production, brand partnerships, strategic consulting, digital, and event management. Key Responsibilities Financial reporting: * Year end close, quarter end close and monthly close in accordance with US GAAP & Corporate Policies including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis * Preparation of Corporate/JCT returns in collaboration with external advisors * Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support for IMG media rights, events management and Corporate Finance * File withholding tax documents for vendors, clients, and non-residents etc. * Create the withholding tax certificates request to the Local Tax Office for non-resident vendors, clients as and when required * Maintain the fixed assets listing * Identify trends and determine financial status by analysing actual results in comparison with forecasts Accounts Payable: * Day to day management of the Accounts Payable process. This includes working with WNS (offshore shared services) to ensure invoices are processed correctly and efficiently. * Supporting the business unit stakeholders on vendor maintenance and payment requests * Create weekly payment proposals and manage tax payments * Management of general banking matters and cashflow forecasting * Monitoring and checking of staff travel expense claims (assisted by WNS) Accounts Receivable: * Day to day management of the Accounts Receivable process. This includes working with WNS (offshore shared services) to ensure that collections monitoring and credit control are adequate * Manage media rights and events invoicing processes, ensuring accurate billing, timely reconciliation, and alignment with contractual terms and revenue recognition policies Others: * Uphold a strong internal control environment * Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function * Other ad hoc tasks as required Qualifications and Traits * 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, accounting, or other related fields * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Accounting certification (ACCA, CPA or similar) a plus * Experience in multinational companies preferred * Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modelling * Familiarity with ERP systems and budgeting/planning tools (e.g., SAP) * Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills * Attention to accuracy and detail required * Strong communication skills in Japanese and English * Ability to work independently with remote supervision **TKO EEO Statement:** TKO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding non-discrimination in employment.
