Senior Accountant

This is our calling **Let’s Talk about the Role** As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Local Finance Manager and work closely with both the Central Finance team and our Shared Service Center. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting the continuous improvement of accounting processes in a dynamic international environment. **How You Will Make a Difference** * Manage and review monthly financial reporting and support month-end and year-end closing activities * Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with auditors and external consultants * Manage VAT returns (monthly and annual) and ensure compliance with local regulations * Prepare Intrastat declarations and support tax calculations * Coordinate with external tax advisors and monitor tax deadlines * Support internal and external audits * Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy * Collaborate with Shared Services on transactional accounting activities * Contribute to process improvements and strengthening internal controls **Skills for Success** * You will have a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * A minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a multinational environment * You will demonstrate to possess a strong knowledge of Italian and US GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes) * A solid experience in financial reporting and audit processes, a good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills * You will be fluent in Italian and English * You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment **What’s in it for You** We’re in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy, and commitment of our people.
