Senior Accounting & Tax Manager

**At Pluxee, we shape the world of employee benefits and engagement by bringing to life a personalized and sustainable employee experience, at work and beyond.** Permanent Term Contract (Fixed Term) **Job Description:** **Financial Accounting & Reporting** * Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Group reporting timelines. * Ensure the preparation of statutory and management financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP. * Act as the subject matter expert on IFRS, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and new business initiatives. * Prepare and document technical accounting assessments and accounting position papers. * Ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls. * Partner closely with Controlling, Consolidation, Treasury, and Business teams to ensure high-quality financial reporting. **Tax Management** * Own all corporate tax, indirect tax (VAT/GST), withholding tax, and other tax compliance obligations. * Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of tax returns. * Manage relationships with external tax advisors and support the implementation of tax planning initiatives. * Provide proactive tax advice on commercial agreements, business projects, and corporate transactions. * Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation in alignment with Group policies. * Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business. * Lead responses to tax audits, inspections, and inquiries from tax authorities **Audit, Governance & Risk** * Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring efficient delivery of supporting documentation and analysis. * Maintain a robust internal control environment across accounting and tax processes. * Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. * Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on accounting, tax, and compliance matters. **Leadership & Stakeholder Management** * Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members where applicable. * Collaborate with Group Finance and Group Tax teams to ensure alignment with corporate policies and strategic objectives. * Support finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field. * CPA, Chartered Accountant, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent qualification preferred **Professional Experience** * 12–15+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Tax. * Previous experience within a Big 4 firm (Audit and/or Tax) is highly preferred. * Experience within a multinational environment is required. * Strong exposure to IFRS reporting and complex accounting matters. * Experience in Financial Services, Payments, Banking, Fintech, or other regulated industries is strongly preferred. * Proven experience managing audits, tax compliance, and regulatory requirements. **Technical Skills** * Advanced knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP. * Strong expertise in tax management * Advanced ERP knowledge (Navision). * Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills **Key Competencies** * IFRS Technical Expertise * Financial Reporting & Consolidation * Tax Compliance & Advisory * Leadership & Team Development * Strategic Thinking * Stakeholder Management * Process Improvement & Transformation * Analytical Problem Solving **Why join Pluxee?** **Join an inclusive team** Work at the heart of the community alongside 5,000 experts across 29 countries - we embrace diversity and value uniqueness, fostering a workplace where everyone can thrive. **Turn inspiration into possibility** Get space to try new ideas, experiment and move the world of work forward as you bring new digital experiences - and moments of connection - to millions of people. **Make a positive impact** Touch millions of lives and create meaningful change for people and the world we share, supporting our commitments to diversity, sustainability, and local economies. **Grow with us** Get support you need to take meaningful steps in your career, whether you're performing your work/life balance or learning new skills.
