Senior Analyst Revenue Management

REQ13138 Senior Analyst, Revenue Management (Open) **POSITION SUMMARY:** Produce in-depth statistical analysis for optimizing hotel rooms. Monitor daily trends and assist to manage hotel inventory and implementing pricing strategy. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Monitor and understand pricing, offers, trends and behaviour of regional markets and competitors. * Assist in managing hotel inventory and room rates to maximize room resources and enterprise profitability. * Provide regular and ad-hoc analytical reports to different departments for decision-making. * Work to maximize room yield through control, room availability and propose up-selling tactics. * Provide recommendation for room request from various business units. **KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:** * Good and friendly communication manner * Display a high commitment to delivering and improving customer service * Develop and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues and external visitors * Timely completion of delegated tasks with accuracy **QUALIFICATIONS:** **E****xperience** * Successful candidate must have at least two years of relevant work experience * Candidate must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles * Preference is given to candidate with gaming or hospitality experience **Education** * Candidate must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of hospitality, gaming, statistics, finance, business administration, related fields are preferred. **Skills / Competencies**   * Candidates should have strong English writing and excellent Cantonese/Mandarin speaking skills * Candidate must be near expert proficiency in MS Excel and quite strong in PowerPoint * Work knowledge and understanding of various hotel operation systems and revenue management software, preference on technical skills in SAS, VBA, Opera, Vision, or Cognos * Strong project management skill is a must
