Senior Assistant Manager Data and Analytics

The Office of Data and Analytics (ODA) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a **Senior Assistant Manager, Data and Analytics** to support NTU’s strategic decision-making through rigorous data analysis, statistical modelling and evidence-based insights. The role contributes to institutional planning, university rankings and reputation, faculty and student outcomes, research analytics, and continuous improvement of data processes across the University. **Job Responsibilities:** * Generate insights from both external and internal data to facilitate evidence-based decision making at all levels of the University.  * Build databases, develop data analytics and implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency. * Refine existing processes and define new processes in data collection to support decision-making at all levels of the University. * Work in teams of stakeholders across various units. **Job Requirements:** * PhD in Social Sciences, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline. * Strong knowledge of applied statistics, empirical research methods and quantitative analysis. * Experience handling, cleaning, validating and analysing complex datasets. * Good coding skills; familiarity with Python and R will be advantageous. * Ability to develop analytical models and communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. * Resourceful, resilient and collaborative, with good communication skills; data visualisation skills will be an added advantage.
