Join our team as we help shape the future. **Reinsurance Business Analyst**  Location: Hyderabad, India  Employment Type: Full-Time  Experience Level: 10+ Years  **Position Overview**  We are seeking a motivated and skilled Business Analyst with Reinsurance experience to join our Reinsurance portfolio team & support from Hyderabad, India location. The ideal candidate brings **5+ years of Business Analysis experience**, good foundational knowledge of **Ceded Reinsurance concepts** and hands‑on experience applying standard BA techniques within **Agile delivery models** to deliver business value efficiently and incrementally.  **Key Responsibilities**  * Support requirement discovery and documentation activities through stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops and backlog refinement sessions   * Partner with Product Owners, end users, developers and QA teams to elicit, analyze, document and validate business/functional requirements   * Assist in the creation and refinement of user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting artifacts   * Validate that requirements align to business intent, reinsurance processing needs and product objectives   * Support test activities by helping clarify requirements, review test cases and participate in requirement validation and defect triage   * Maintain a strong understanding of Ceded Reinsurance business workflows and apply that knowledge to day‑to‑day analysis activities   * Contribute to Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery activities, supporting an iterative, incremental approach to solution delivery   * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams as part of a multi‑vendor delivery model  **Required Skills & Experience**  * Bachelor's Degree with **5+ years of professional Business Analysis experience** supporting business and technology initiatives  * Solid experience applying **core BA techniques** including:   * Requirement elicitation and documentation  * User stories and acceptance criteria  * Process flows and data mapping  * Understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure  * Experience using Generative AI tools to expedite business analysis process and generation of documentation artifacts  * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  * Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  * Experience working in Agile teams  **Nice to Have Skills**  * Experience with ProCede or similar Ceded Reinsurance systems   * Basic understanding of Assumed Reinsurance concepts  * Exposure to system conversions or migrations involving policy, claim, or reinsurance platforms   * Experience supporting integrations and data standards including participation in data mapping and interface documentation  **What We Offer**  * Opportunity to work on advanced cloud automation and AI technologies  * Collaborative and innovative work environment  * Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits  * Continuous learning and professional development opportunities  [About Us](https://www.thehartford.com/about-us) | [Our Culture](https://www.thehartford.com/about-us/corporate-culture) | [What It’s Like to Work Here](https://www.thehartford.com/careers/our-employees)
