This team is driving the design, deployment, and ongoing operation support on cloud-based solutions. Also this team will work across different application development, infrastructure operations, and security teams to ensure stability, scalability, and security of HKEX cloud infrastructure. **Job Duties:** **Job Responsibilities:** * Maintain platform stability and high availability by defining and monitoring key observability metrics across all cloud environments. * Lead incident response efforts and conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term preventative measures. * Develop and govern a library of modular Terraform modules to ensure all deployments are standardized and reproducible. * Identifying and reducing manual toil by building automation scripts and exploring intelligent tooling for repetitive operational tasks. * Build and manage comprehensive observability stacks, including monitoring and logging, to provide deep visibility into system health. * Enforce security standards such as CIS Benchmarks through the implementation of automated guardrails. * Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs by using predictive insights to scale infrastructure based on real-time demand. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum 4 years in AWS, Azure, GCP or China Brand Private Cloud, professional experience in SRE or DevOps roles managing high-availability production environments. * Expert-level proficiency in Terraform for managing large-scale infrastructure as code. * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for developing robust automation tools. * Extensive hands-on experience with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack. * Demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud networking and security, including VPC design and CIS compliance standards. * Familiar with modern automation trends, such as using AI-driven data analytics, reporting and anomaly detection to enhance incident triage. * Proven ability to solve complex problems in distributed systems while working under high-pressure situations. **Competencies and Behaviors Required:** Analytical Thinking * Breaks down complex cloud infrastructure challenges into manageable components. * Identifies root causes of system issues and proposes practical, data-driven solutions. * Applies structured thinking to evaluate cloud architecture and deployment strategies.
