You are Absa. You are possibility.** **Job Summary** Design, implement, and support enterprise DevOps platforms, automation frameworks, and cloud-native delivery pipelines that enable secure, scalable, and reliable software delivery. **Job Description** Key Focus Areas --------------- * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. * Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments. * Support cloud-native platforms and container orchestration. * Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions. * Enhance reliability through monitoring and observability. * Enable developer productivity through self-service tooling. * Implement DevSecOps controls throughout the SDLC. Strategy Execution ------------------ * Support DevOps and DevSecOps strategies aligned to enterprise objectives. * Contribute to adoption of modern engineering and automation practices. Customer Primacy ---------------- * Ensure platform services meet availability and reliability standards. * Enable faster delivery of customer-facing capabilities. Sustainable Growth ------------------ * Automate operational tasks and optimize platform scalability. * Support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives. Innovation and Continuous Improvement ------------------------------------- * Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps adoption. * Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and technologies. Collaboration and Team Enablement --------------------------------- * Partner with engineering and security teams. * Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing. Operational Effectiveness ------------------------- * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. * Manage Kubernetes and container platforms. * Implement monitoring and observability solutions. Digital Adoption ---------------- * Promote DevOps tools, automation and platform standardization. Governance, Risk and Compliance ------------------------------- * Embed security controls into delivery processes. * Ensure compliance with enterprise standards. Data and Observability ---------------------- * Implement logging, monitoring, tracing and dashboards. Stakeholder Management ---------------------- * Collaborate with developers, architects and business stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience ----------------------------- Education / Qualification ------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline. * Industry certifications advantageous: Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer), Terraform Associate. Work Experience --------------- * 5-8 years experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
