Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** =================== **Roles and Responsibilities** * Develop and execute integrated government affairs and healthcare policy strategies that align with GE HealthCare's business priorities and global corporate objectives. * Monitor and analyze healthcare policy developments, macroeconomic trends, legislative initiatives, industrial policies, procurement regulations, healthcare payment and reimbursement policies, and healthcare technology market dynamics etc. Assess the implementation of key policies and anticipate their impact on the business. * Provide timely strategic insights, policy interpretation, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations to China and global leadership teams. Translate policy and regulatory developments into meaningful guidance documents, strategic plans, and advocacy initiatives that support business growth, operational effectiveness, and decision-making. * Lead policy advocacy efforts in areas including healthcare innovation, healthcare digitalization, localization, industrial development, and other strategic policy priorities that support GE HealthCare's long-term growth. * Build and maintain strategic relationships with central ministries, local government authorities, policy experts, industry associations, academic societies, healthcare organizations, think tanks, and key opinion leaders. Facilitate executive-level government engagements, including high-level meetings, official visits, and government delegations, while strengthening communication networks with external stakeholders. * Represent GE HealthCare in external government and industry engagements, effectively communicate the company's positions on key policy issues while ensuring alignment and coordination across business units and supporting functions. * Proactively identify, assess, and manage external issues, policy, regulatory, geopolitical, and reputational risks that may impact business operations. Develop mitigation strategies and provide timely recommendations to leadership. * Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives across business units and enabling functions to ensure alignment between external affairs priorities, policy advocacy, and business objectives. * Provide strategic counsel and government affairs expertise to business leaders and functional teams to support informed decision-making, policy positioning, and long-term business planning. **Qualifications** * Minimum of 15 years of experience in government affairs, healthcare policy, market access, public affairs, or related functions. Past experience in government, multinational corporations or leading healthcare companies is a plus. * Deep understanding of China’s healthcare policy environment, industrial policy landscape, and medical technology sector. * Strong strategic thinking, policy analysis, and business acumen with the ability to navigate complex and evolving environments. * Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement, policy advocacy, and cross-functional leadership. * Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese. * Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally. * Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities with a high degree of professionalism and execution discipline. **Inclusion and Diversity** GE HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
