**City/State:** Tarrytown, New York **Department:** Office Of The VP Supply Chain MHS **Work Days:** MON-FRI **Scheduled Hours:** 8:30 AM-5 PM **Scheduled Daily Hours:** 7.5 HOURS   _Montefiore Health System is seeking an experienced, Pharmacist leader to serve as Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing – Pharmacy, a critical enterprise role overseeing the largest and complex drug spend portfolios in the region._ _This position is responsible for leading system-wide pharmacy sourcing and contracting strategy across Montefiore’s academic medical centers, hospitals, ambulatory sites, and specialty pharmacy operations._ _As Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing – Pharmacy, you will lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of pharmacy contracting and sourcing strategies for $800M+ in annual drug spend, balancing financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, and clinical alignment._ _This is a senior, high-impact role for a licensed pharmacist with deep experience in pharmacy contracting, 340B, distribution, and academic medical center operations. The individual in this role will serve as a trusted advisor to Chief Pharmacy Officers and executive leadership._ **_Responsibilities_** * _Lead enterprise-wide pharmacy sourcing and contracting strategy, including GPO and direct manufacturer negotiations_ * _Manage contracting and sourcing across inpatient, ambulatory, specialty, and contract pharmacy environments_ * _Drive savings initiatives, formulary standardization, and contract compliance in partnership with Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) and clinical leaders_ * _Serve as system subject matter expert for 340B, regulatory compliance, audits, and pharmacy supply chain risk management_ * _Partner closely with Pharmacy, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Supply Chain leadership_ * _Oversee pharmacy distribution relationships and inventory strategies, ensuring supply continuity and regulatory adherence_ * _Support initiatives related to specialty pharmacy growth, technology implementation, and process improvement_ * _Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team; establish KPIs and governance standards_ **_Qualifications_** * _Licensed Pharmacist (PharmD or RPh acceptable with substantial senior experience)_ * _Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in pharmacy sourcing, contracting, or supply chain within a large academic medical center or integrated health system_ * _Deep expertise in:_ * _Pharmacy contracting & negotiations_ * _340B program management_ * _GPO utilization and vendor management_ * _Drug distribution and inventory management_ * _Demonstrated ability to operate at scale with complex stakeholder environments_ * _Proven executive presence and ability to partner with senior clinical and administrative leaders_ * _Experience managing large volume pharmacy spend_ * _MBA, MHA, or other advanced business degree (preferred)_ * _Experience leading enterprise initiatives across acute and ambulatory care settings_   Montefiore Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
